  • Too many road accidents occur every year during
    Ramadan due to driver falling asleep, tiredness
    and fatigued especially in the afternoon.
  • This is mainly caused by lack the change in
    lifestyle due to Ramadan leading to loss of
    concentration and then fatigue.

    simple driving rules were not followed.

Once fatigue sets in, there is little you can do
about it except STOP at a safe place away from
the road as soon as possible and take a break.

have a DUTY to protect yourself and the
others. Why are you at risk? Potential excessive
working hours. You may be too tired to drive
safely due to fasting Driving at night presents a
very high risk.

Driving Safety
  • Avoid driving for long hours. Follow speed limits
    and road signs.
  • Avoid driving after a heavy meal when you break
    fast.
  • Ensure that you get adequate sleep.
  • STOP AND TAKE REST IF YOU ARE TIRED.
  • Wear seatbelt.
  • NEVER use mobile phones while driving.
  • Don't drive faster than the conditions allow or
    the posted speed limit.
  • Never overtake in dust.
