  • Malnutrition
  • The 3 main diseases that these cause are obesity,
    diabetes, and coronary heart disease.
  • How much of each can I have a day?
  • Trans fats should be cut down at all costs
  • Sugar should be kept to a minimum
  • Sodium intake should be limited to no more than
    2300mg
  • It should be noted that these are, to a certain
extent, essential for the body (except trans
    fats).
  • Sodium is needed for many enzyme processes.
  • Sugar is used as energy, but should be limited
nonetheless to avoid a high concentration of
    blood sugar.

Tip Of the day What you can do to reduce these
risks in your daily diet All forms of trans fats
should (ideally) be cut down to almost nothing,
also, the intake of fried foods should be brought
down to a minimum. Conversely, the intake of
foods such as fruits. white meat (which generally
is less fattening), and healthy fats, should be
encouraged.
