Before founding D G Consulting Group in 2004,
Gary Guion spent several years serving as an
Associate for prominent investment firm
PricewaterhouseCoopers, L.L.P. Guion joined the
firm in 2002, shortly after graduating from the
McCombs School of Business with a Kimberly-Clark
MIS 333K Scholarship Award in Project Management.
Working out of offices in both Texas and
Massachusetts, Guion handled duties ranging from
customer liaising to oversight of new product
releases. His team also designed operational
process improvements for clients such as American
Airlines and DaimlerChrysler.

Gary Guion went on to spend two years working in
structured finance with Holliday Fenoglio Fowler,
L.P., serving major equity originators including
opportunistic funds and pension fund advisors.
During his time with the firm, Guion and his
colleagues were responsible for completing 45
transactions with aggregate profits of more than
750 million.Outside of his professional
obligations, Gary Guion maintains a number of
philanthropic pursuits. He donates to causes such
as the Crystal Charity Ball, Habitat for
Humanity, and the Park Cities Baptist Church.
Gary Guion is also an avid supporter of local
arts and culture organizations, participating in
fundraisers for The Arts Community Alliance,
among others.

Versatile financial professional Gary Guion has
fulfilled a variety of positions in the real
estate and private equity sectors. He currently
acts as the head of D G Investment Group, Inc.,
in addition to his service as a Partner with SMG
Capital Partners. His work with these niche
commercial real estate firms includes extensive
operations in corporate finance as well as
day-to-day management of staff and operations.
Gary Guions teams at both companies demonstrated
consistent success in attracting substantial
equity, as well as proven abilities to manage
extensive property holdings.
