What is Honda Challenge?

• A motor sport showcase for Honda automobiles in a
  clean, sportsmanlike racing environment
• A racing environment where a skilled, clean, well
  executed pass is preferable to gain position.
• This racing environment develops good
  sportsmanship and friendships
• This motor sport also allows racers who have
  reasonable budget to start a career in the racing
  world.

Where do we Start?

• N.A.S.A (National Auto Sport Association)
• Join MEMBERSHIP 1 year
• Fee is 35
• Go to N.A.S.A Driving school
• Receive a Regional License
• (allowing us to race in any N.A.S.A events)

Where do we go from there?

• Learn the N.A.S.A Rules
• Decide what Vehicle Class to drive in
• Learn the N.A.S.A Rules in Specific Vehicle Class
• Decide on which Vehicle

Team Build Up!

• 6 Members needed
• - Require Skills
• Driving, Mechanical, Fabrication, Math, Tuning,
  etc.
• -Positions
• Drivers, Crew Chief, Master Mechanic, Login
  Timer/Point Counter, Tires, Suspension,

Car Build Up!

• Strip car down to frame
• Install all safety equipment required by N.A.S.A
• Thrash stock Single cam (sohc) / Dual cam (dohc)
  motor
• Replace with a VTEC (Variable valve Timing and
  lift Electronic Control) Dohc Motor
• Prep New motor for Race
• Install Suspension
• Restore Car to Running mode
• Install Provided Decals from N.A.S.A
• Inspection from N.A.S.A

Ex. Roll Cage, Racing seats, Racing seat
belts, and Fire extinguisher.

Dual Cam / DOHC

Funding

• Most Funding will be coming from a privateer
• Approximately 10,000 (ten grand) will be need to
  start up the car build up
• Looking for sponsors

Provide us with -parts
-space -containment -expertise
We will provide them with -representation at
events - advertisement on the car
