Maxillofacial Surgeon
2Dr. Greg Frokjer has treated over 80,000 patients
in his long and successful career. He trained at
a Level I Trauma Center and specialized in Facial
Trauma, Facial Reconstruction and Temporal
Mandibular Joint Surgery. While studying at the
University of Wisconsin, River Falls he received
honors for his performances which include
Freshman Honors, Sophomore Silver R and NAIA
Athletic-Scholastic All American.
3Dr. Greg Frokjer went on to study at University
of Iowa- Doctor of Dental Surgery where he
received his dental education. He was awarded
honors such as Most Outstanding Graduate in Oral
and Maxillofacial Surgery, Collegiate Committee
on Pharmacy and Therapeutics and Captain All
University Championship Volleyball Team. His post
doctoral training also included internship oral
and Maxillofacial surgery at Carle Foundation
Hospitals and Clinic and General Practice
Residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and
Clinics.
4He was a model student and a true inspiration for
his colleagues as well as his peers. His
achievements in the field of surgery have been a
source of motivation for others in the field and
people often give his example as a dedicated
professional who has given his all to make life
better for his patients. Dr. Greg Frokjer has
been associated with several professional
organizations such as American Dental
Association, American Association of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Academy of
Cosmetic Surgery and International Congress of
Oral Implantologists.
5He has achieved several honors and awards in his
career. Some of these include Presidents Club
University of North Dakota President North
Dakota Northeast District Dental Society
Chairman North Dakota Council on Pharmacy and
Therapeutics and Clinic Instructor at the
University of North Dakota, College of Medicine.
Dr. Frokjer has written several publications such
as TMJ Arthroplasty - An Outpatient Procedure,
Soft Tissue Mass of Posterior Pharyngeal Wall and
A Simplified Technique of Rigid Fixation
Following Sagittal Split Osteotomy and
Postanesthetic TMJ Dysfunction.
