1. Be certain you understand 19th century
nationalism --its roots --its expressions (how
it is portrayed throughout various cultures
and/or arts --its results 2. Cite at least three
elements or aspects of The Moldau that express
nationalism. 3. Discuss its programmatic
features. Cite imagery details and explain how
they are portrayed in the music. Since the piece
is so short, you should be able to do this with
every image. Use the program guide that follows.
