Born at a farmhouse in Kansas, Ron Eakes spent
his childhood with six other siblings at the
farm. In 1977, he graduated from South Western
Heights School and later, he enrolled at Dodge
City Community College for a degree program and
graduated from there in 1979. This college is
well recognized for its sports and academic
activities. The college's athletics team is
widely popular and knows as Conqs, and each year
they participate in several sports events. After
completing his college education, he started Mid
Plains Construction Company in Plains. He
attended a short course provided by Dale Carnegie
College, which helped him in improving his
overall personality.

Ron Eakes is a renowned businessman from Kansas
State who owns Mid Plains Construction Company in
Plains, and has been providing construction
services since 1979. The company has made many
commercial buildings, churches, dairies,
hospitals, schools, buildings for agricultural
use, and silos for grain storage. The
construction services provided by the company
include concrete construction, general
construction, concrete forming, concrete
installation, concrete ready mix sales, curing
concrete, and advanced concrete construction.

He has a vast experience of more than 3 decades.
Ron offers a great number of products that
include Parking lots, building Caissons and
Pilings, Driveways, Handicap ramps, etc. He
provides employment to nearly 70 employees in his
company. For his dedicated contribution to the
industry, he was honored with a certificate of
achievement in building construction.

Ron Eakes is the owner of three ready mix plants,
and is also a partner in two large scale dairies.
He has been linked to various community
organizations and charity events throughout his
career. He is listed in National Register of
Whos Who in executives and Professionals. He
consistently contributes to many societies such
as Save the Children, Church Council, Knights of
Columbus, American cancer Society, Children's
Miracle Network, County Economic Organizations,
Special Olympics, Kansas Peace Officers, etc.

He is also an esteemed member of the Lion's Club,
and often involves himself in the meetings and
events organized by the club. In leisure time, he
likes to travel and play golf. He plays golf at
the local club along with his friends. He is a
married man who is blessed with three children.
