• Kevin Lau here.
• We're at day 2
• of my 30 day challenge.
• Today what I want to talk about is
• MLM lead generation.

• tactics on looking for different ways to find
  more prospects and
• building the foundation to generate leads

• When I started MLM lead generation I was getting
  burnt out in doing home meetings and
  presentations. I wanted to find a more effective
  way to do them.

• I was looking at my up line, and all these other
  people who were making 20-30 thousand a month
  sometimes more.
• I looked at those results, not seeing what they
  had to go through on a daily basis.

• I thought that by marketing on the internet,
  everything would just happen-leads falling from
  the sky and people would subscribe. One of my
  close mentors told me,
• Kevin, you need to adopt a work ethic if you
  want to have the results that Im getting.

Personal development

• Im telling you today that if you think youre
  just going to go on the internet and randomly
  make a blog expecting leads to come in, it wont
  happen. If you want to get results in your
  business, then youre going to have to work on
  yourself to attract a certain type of person.

• People are looking at you on the internet with a
  more scrutinizing eye. If you think about it,
  there are so many scams
• people saying that they are the next leader that
  can take your business to the next level.

• The one biggest piece of advice I can give you is
  to be real and authentic.
• Be yourself.
• Thats one of the reasons why I wanted to take
  on this challenge. I wanted to be more in tuned
  with the people Im working with, share as much
  value as I can and become better at expressing
  myself.

• If you want to generate MLM leads for your
  business, always think about the fact that there
  is a daily method of operation you need to adopt,
  whether its getting 5 or 50 leads a day.

• This is one of the things I learned during my
  time with Google, which is known as a matrix
  company.
• They have something called KPI or OKR-Objectives
  and Key Results.

Objectives and Key Results

• Their employees are expected to write out their
  three major goals for every quarter, every year.
  They examine peoples success or failure on those
  matrixes and how quickly they are following them.
  If they are failing them, they get a grade at
  the end of the quarter-kind of like when you went
  to school and got a GPA.

• I try to mimic it with my business. I treat it
  almost as a job wherein you typically have some
  kind of regimen or schedule. I try to adopt that
  same philosophy in my own business.
• The fact is I have certain things I need to do
  every single day. If I dont do it, I cant move
  on to the next step. Its basically a method of
  operation.

• I need to make a video and promote it, and make a
  blog post every single day before I can go to
  sleep. So I look at a way to cash out at the end
  of the day.
• Did I do all of those things?
• Did I fail?
• What do I need to do tomorrow?
• What do I need to tweak?
• Looking at those things day by day and assessing
  over time I can see my results.

• By having a regimen you will become a better and
  more influential leader. Also, you will be able
  to attract the type of people you want. You can
  track what is working and whats not.

• Thats the secret behind lead generation.
• If you do something long enough, eventually you
  will get some kind of result. Whether its
  through advertising, online marketing, or SCL.
  If you do it consistently youll get the results
  you want.
