How To Drive Action Plans To Completion

• Business process improvement plan faces certain
  traps which delay the process and efficiency of
  the project. One being stalling on action plan
  implementation this can be traced if the action
  plans might be jotted down after the process
  assessment but very less amount of efforts are
  made on its progress mainly because management
  does not make them priority, assign the work to
  the individuals or otherwise take them seriously.
  Sometimes managers may not mention about the
  action plans in written which might portray to
  team mates that these action plans are not really
  important. This lack of improvement even
  frustrates those who actually wish to achieve
  progress and value the investment of time and
  money. The best way to turn action plans into
  action is to treat the improvement activities as
  mini assignments. Maximum concentration at a time
  should be on two or three areas of improvement.
  Effectively measure progress against the plans to
  evaluate the impact of it on the business results
  achieved. Train the developers using business
  process software and let the programmers set an
  interim goal which can be tracked easily to
  attain test automation tools.
