Solar Panels

• Solar Panel is the collection of several
  individual solar cells (Energy Particles called
  Photons) which converts the sunlight into
  electricity. This Conversion is due to the
  photovoltaic effect. This Solar Panel is also
  called as photovoltaic panel or photovoltaic
  module. The nominal output voltage of a solar
  panel is usually 12 Volts and output watts are
  100 to 320 watts.
• The number and size of Solar Panel required is
  determined by the available light and the amount
  of energy required. Solar panel arrays can be
  sized to meet the most demanding electrical load
  requirements. These Solar Panels are need to be
  mounted on the roof, ground and where the
  sunlight is directly available.
• The electricity obtained from the Solar Panels
  called
• DC power which are not directly used to the home
  
• appliances. For this purpose, Solar Inverter is
  used.
• We can directly use the DC power from the solar
  panel
• For some specific applications like cell phone
  recharger,
• LED night lights.

Solar Inverter

• The AC (Alternating current) can be used to power
  loads in your home or commercial building etc.
  The Solar Panel gives DC (Direct current).The DC
  current cannot be used directly for the home
  appliances. To convert DC to AC, Solar Inverter
  is used. Solar Inverter is the most important
  component in the solar power systems. The
  Converted AC power is used for running your
  gadgets like the TV, Microwave, and Refrigerator
  etc...
• There are a few basic types of Solar Inverter are
  Off Grid Inverters, Grid Tie Inverters, Battery
  backup Inverters, Micro Inverters.
• Grid Tie Inverters convert the direct current
  generated by the solar module into
  grid-acceptable alternating current.
• Micro-inverters are the latest in the solar
  industry which is small compact in size and yet
  are packed with a lot of performance promise.
  They incorporate all the features of any string
  or central inverters.

Process of Solar Power Generation System

• The solar energy (Electricity) is generated by
  the solar panel by absorbing sunlight and heat.
  This Solar panel should be fixed on the roof.
  This solar energy is stored in the battery for
  night time use. Solar inverter is used to convert
  the Direct current (DC) to alternating current
  (AC) which allows us to use for ordinary
  commercial appliances.
• When there is no sunlight, the solar energy
  which is already stored in the batteries is used.
  During the summer time, we will get surplus of
  solar energy that will be fed into the grid.
  Through some equipment we can monitor the energy
  level and also we can manage the energy
  consumption. We can use this AC to cook, to power
  your home, to charge your battery, Ventilation
  (fans), to heat water, lighting inside and
