INDIA, KERALA, KOCHI (February 2012)- Wonderla
joins the world's amusement parks as one of the
happiest places on earth. When you first walk

Wonderla recently won awards for its amusements.
The Indian Association of Amusement Parks
Industries held an expo in New Delhi. Among all
of the new amusement industries springing up
across India, Wonderla was given the award for
the most innovative rides and attractions. It's

those that can be found in amusement parks all

The Spinning Coaster is considered the star of
their high thrill rides, though the Vintage
Tornado comes in a close second. The Spinning
Coaster is a 300 meter coaster with spinning
seats. This coaster draws riders through the
steep ups and downs, twists and turns of a usual
coaster, but riders are further disoriented and
thrilled by a car that spins in response to the
movement. The Vintage Tornado is the first of its
kind in all of India. The roller coaster has been
nested inside of a seven storied castle. The ride
down is full of twists and turns, all at
breakneck speed.

Wonderla also has a number of rides geared
towards children and families such as the Moon
Walker and the Dancing Cars. It is an ideal place
for families. Parents and children can enjoy the
rides before enjoying Wonderlas more cinematic
attractions, such as the fountain and laser light
show, and the Cinemagic ride. It is clear why
this park attracted the attention of the Indian
Association of Amusement Parks Industries, and
why it continues to attract the attention of
Indian and international families.

Wonderla has also spearheaded the amusement park
industry in another important way. Along with
awards for innovation and outreach, Wonderla was
given an award in the special category of
environmental technologies. Wonderla won the
award for 'Energy Saving by Using Solar Photo
Voltaic Cells.' The Wonderla company

process, and thereby ensuring that parks all over
the world have a new standard that they have to
