- Computer Vision Syndrome or CVS describes a
group of symptoms like Dry eyes, Eye strain etc.
caused by prolonged computer usage. -
WHAT CAUSES CVS?
There are a number of factors that determine the
amount of strain your body feels as you work on a
computer, including lighting in the room,
distance from the screen, glare on the screen,
seating posture, and the angle of your head not
to mention any existing vision problems you may
have. One or all of these may combine to cause an
uncomfortable amount of strain on your eyes.

necks and pain in shoulders.
6 Steps to reducing computer eyestrain
- Get an eye exam and wear glasses even if you have
a minor power. - Make sure your room is properly lit, too bright
or too dim light may cause eye strain. - Adjust the brightness of your computer screen.
- Blink often.
- Use lubricating eye drops for dry eyes.
- Always wear computer glasses to eliminate glares.
