Braces behind Teeth - The Result of Recent
Advancement
Braces are meant for correcting crooked teeth or
misaligned teeth. However, many people opt not to
have arch wires/metal wires being placed across
their teeth. For this reason, braces behind teeth
also called lingual braces, were developed to
cater for this problem. Braces behind teeth make
it hard to notice when an individual is
undergoing through this type of dental treatment.
What is the technology associated with braces
behind teeth? According to the research, the
technology that lies behind this dental procedure
is very complicated in that brackets and wires
used with incognito braces are custom-fabricated
for each patient using a robotic wire bending and
Cam, Cad technology.
Dr. Monica Goldenberg is a recognized
orthodontist who provides excellent orthodontic
treatments with all types of visible and
invisible braces including incognito braces,
ceramic braces, lingual braces etc.

Different Types of Braces for Getting High Class
Orthodontic Treatment
Ceramic Braces Ceramic braces use the same
methods as traditional metal aligners do. In such
treatments, the brace is individually bonded to
each tooth. They material used in these aligners
are different from the traditional one, and they
also have a subsequent look. As these braces are
translucent, sometimes they are known as clear
braces. At the same time, you will also see a
metal line going along the front of both the top
and bottom rows of the teeth. This is the place
where the ceramic piece binds to each other.
However, ceramic braces are not quite sturdy like
the metal aligners. Lingual Braces These types
of aligners are generally placed behind the teeth
and they are literally invisible on the eyes of
an individual. As the name suggests, lingual
braces may be cumbersome as they obstruct tongue
movement. Speaking with these brackets is quite
difficult. At first, the users may suffer from
speech trouble before adjusting to the lingual
restrictions. Although little expensive, they
provide the best level of service and the
treatment time is also very short. In generally,
this is an ideal orthodontic treatment for the
teenagers as well as the young professionals. Cle
ar Brackets These types of braces usually use
clear aligners and available in progressive trays
that are changed over time. You can open them at
the time of brushing and eating. While undergoing
through this treatment, you need to wear a tray
of such aligners for a set period of time, until
the teeth correct themselves to that phrase of
the alignment process, and after that a new set
is worn. One of the most popular of clear braces
is invisalign. They are barely noticeable and
they dont require wires or tightening.
