My Love Story

• It is said that the more you know your
  partner,
• the more you love him, but actually, I
  disagree.
• It is not always true. In my opinion,
• knowledge works against
  
• romantic love. Ill

• happened
• to me
• once

• When I was 17, I received a
• grant to study in Israel. At
• that time, we used
• to travel by ship.
• It was a
• 21-day voyage. We
• spent many hours just walking on the deck.

• One of the last days, a good-looking, tall,
  blond boy showed up. We started to get to know
  each other, and in a really short time, we fell
  in love, almost with just a first sight. I was
  convinced he was the best and the smartest boy in
  the world

• To my disappointment, he had to disembark
• in Naples, and I had to travel for a
  few
• 
  days more. It was
• 
  devastating, but
• 
  my life had
• 
  to go on

• Finally, I arrived in Haifa, then to
  Jerusalem and started my studies at university

• One day, while I was living in Jerusalem for
  a couple of months, to my great surprise, we ran
  into each other at the entrance of the University
  library!!! He had been looking for me for a long
  time.  I realized he had started to study in the
  same University just to stay near me!

• We went out
• for 2 years. Then,
• we got married
• full of
• happiness...

• After the wedding, things changed
  completely. We started to argue a lot, we didnt
  get along as we had expected. Im inclined to
  believe that when we got to know each other, we
  discovered many negative aspects of our
  personalities

• He became rough and I started
• to suspect he was going out with somebody  else.
• Finally, when I was sure he had cheated on me,
• we broke up our relationship and got divorced

• It was an awful experience for me, and made
  me be afraid of falling in love again. Thats why
  I said "knowledge works against love"
