- Established in 1982
- 140 km away from Jakarta, 23 hectares
- 10 Departments with 29 Study Programs. 18 Diploma
3 (D3) Programs and 11 Diploma 4 Programs (D4 or
Bachelor Degree) - Over 4000 Students and fast 500 lecturers
- 159 Classrooms include 1 lecture theatre

5 Academic Course
- The odd semester started from the end of August
until the end of January - The even semester started from the first week of
March until the first week of July - Holidays are
- 1,5 weeks in Christmas and New Year (December)
- 1,5 weeks in Idulfitri
- 3 weeks odd semester break (February)
- 4 weeks even semester break (July-August)
- The Diploma 3 Program is 3 years or 6 semesters
study for 3600 class hours theory and practice - Study load is between 110 to 120 SCU
- The Diploma 4 Program is 4 years or 8 semesters
study for 4800 class hours theory and practice - Study load is between 144 to 160 SCU
- The last semester will ended by the final
project, and it normally relates to the
industrial problem solving
6Courses and Exam
- Examination is twice in a semester and it is done
in the middle and at the end of the semester. - Exams are normally written and officially
scheduled - The dates are published through yearly academic
calendar - Â All courses are taught in Indonesian languages
as a national language - There are two types of teaching learning process

- The ratio between theory and practice is
approximately 45 to 55 55 to 45

- POLBAN International Strategic Partnerships in
Research and Education is one of the POLBAN
project that aims to significantly strengthen the
academic and research partnerships between the
POLBAN and HEIs in Europe, such as Austria,
England, France, German, Italy, Netherland,
Spain and Swizerland.
