In the current Digital Future Project, 46
percent on Internet users said that most or all
of the information online is generally reliable.
The Internet is perceived by users to be a more
important source of information for themthis
over all principal media, including television,
radio, newspapers, and books.
A higher percentage of Internet users reported
negative views about the reliability and accuracy
of information provided by search engines, such
as Google. Slightly over half of Internet
users51 percentsaid that most or all the
information produced by search engines is
reliable and accuratedown from 62 percent who
reported the same response in 2006. --Annual

In the years since search engines have been in
existence, they have achieved a familiarity
rating that is slightly higher than that of
physical libraries and considerably higher than

SPC libraries belong to a consortium called
TexShare.
Through TexShare and the SPC library, you have
access to hundreds of thousands of dollars worth
of materials not available online through Google
or other search engines.
You will see these resources throughout your
college career if you attend colleges and
universities in the state of Texas or use public
libraries.

off-campus, you must be authenticated. You login
with your SPC domain username and password. This
is the same username and password you would use
to access MySPC and SPC email. For login
