Building Your Spiritual House

Bible Use of a House
Matt 724-27 24 "Therefore whoever hears these
sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him
to a wise man who built his house on the rock
25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and
the winds blew and beat on that house and it did
not fall, for it was founded on the rock. 26 Now
everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and
does not do them, will be like a foolish man who
built his house on the sand 27 and the rain
descended, the floods came, and the winds blew
and beat on that house and it fell. And great
was its fall."
4
Bible Use of a House
Heb 33-4 3 For this One has been counted worthy
of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who
built the house has more honor than the house.
4 For every house is built by someone, but He
who built all things is God.
5
Bible Use of Building
Gal 218 18 For if I build again those things
which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
Rom 1520 20 And so I have made it my aim to
preach the gospel, not where Christ was named,
lest I should build on another man's foundation,
6

Begin with a vision of what an ideal Christian
would be
Col. 19-12 9 For this reason we also, since the
day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you,
and to ask that you may be filled with the
knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual
understanding 10 that you may walk worthy of
the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in
every good work and increasing in the knowledge
of God 11 strengthened with all might,
according to His glorious power, for all patience
and longsuffering with joy 12 giving thanks to
the Father who has qualified us to be partakers
of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
