Overview This review highlights the very
familiar, but new features of the Progress
Monitor Caseload. After this training, you will
be proficient in navigating the AIMSweb Progress
Monitor System.

Logging into the AIMSweb System
Login to your AIMSweb Benchmark account at
www.aimsweb.com. Click the Customer Login button
in the upper right corner of the AIMSweb website.
Enter your Customer ID, Username, and Password
(provided to you by Pearson). Then, click the
Login button.

When you first login to the AIMSweb system, you
will see six tabs across the top of the screen
Welcome, My Account, AIMSonline, Downloads,
Reports, and Progress Monitor. The Welcome tab
provides a Getting Started review of all six tabs
and their primary functions.

Preparing Your Current Caseload
After you login, click the blue Progress Monitor
tab to view your Progress Monitor Caseload.

If you did not file your completed assessment
schedules at the end of the last school year, the
schedules will appear in the Progress Monitor
active caseload listing. You will want to file
these assessment schedules. Click the check
box in the upper left corner of the student list
to select all assessment schedules. Click the
button to file the schedules.

Your Progress Monitor Caseload window will
display a message stating You currently do not
have any Active assessment schedules.

Managing Students
Create new assessment schedules by clicking the
button. Lets review the Manage
Students features.

The Manage Students window appears in two
sections Add a Student and Student
List. Existing students will appear in the
student list to the right.

Designate a student to be assessed by either
searching for an existing student or adding a new
student. Search for an existing student by
entering search criteria in any of the searchable
(red) fields and clicking the
button.

The student will appear in the Student List.
Add this student to your Progress Monitor
Caseload by clicking the check box next to the
students name. Then, clicking the button.

The student will then appear highlighted under
the Student List. A icon indicates the
student is in your Progress Monitor Caseload.

If your student does not appear in the Student
list after the search, you will need to add a new
student. This will automatically add the student
to your Progress Monitor Caseload.
Begin Adding a new student by entering
information in the Add a Student column at the
left of the page. All required fields are red.
Once the information has been added, click the
button.

Note the student appears highlighted in the
student list. When you have finished adding
students to your Progress Monitor Caseload, click
the home button to return to the Progress Monitor
home page.

Creating Assessment Schedules
  • Now that the students are in your caseload, you
    can create assessment schedules.
  • There are three parts of an assessment schedule,
    which must be identified
  • The General Outcome Measure to be Assessed
  • The Goal Duration and Frequency
  • Survey Level Assessment, Initial Performance, and
    Goal Scores

General Outcome Measures to be Assessed
Select a General Outcome Measure to be assessed
by clicking the Select link next to the students
name.

A new window will appear. Select the GOM you
wish to assess by clicking the circle next to its
name. Click the Save button to save the
changes and return to the Progress Monitor
Caseload window.

Goal Duration and Frequency
Next we need to enter the assessment schedule
duration and frequency. To do this, click the
Enter Schedule link next to the students name.

The Determine Goal Duration and Assessment
Frequency will appear. You must enter the Goal
Start and Ending Dates into the appropriate text
fields.
Select the schedule and frequency by clicking the
appropriate radio (circle) buttons. Designate
a weekly schedule by clicking the check box of
the day of the week the assessments will take
place. Use the drop down menus to designate less
frequent schedules. Use the drop down menu to
select the timeline for the periodic review, if
applicable.

When finished, click the Save button to save your
settings and return to the Progress Monitor
Caseload window.

Entering Survey Level Assessment, Initial
Performance, and Goal Scores
Enter the Survey Level Assessment, Initial
Performance, and Goal Scores by clicking the
Enter link under the goal column next to the
students name.

This will display the Enter SLA, Initial
Performance, and Goal Scores window.

scores at this time. After the scores have been
entered, click the Save Graph button to view
the students performance in comparison to the
AIMSweb Educational Averages.

Next, Select the Assessment Grade Level and enter
the Initial Corrects and Errors. Initial
Performance Label and Descriptions can be
entered. These will appear in the students
progress report. Then, enter the Goal Corrects
and Errors. Click Save.

Entering Assessment Scores
Click the link under the Next Score column next
to the students name to enter his or her
assessment scores.

Enter scores for the date the assessment was
given. Use the and buttons to view
previous or upcoming scheduled dates. Use the
icon to create and note interventions. When
finished, click the Save button to save the
changes or the Cancel button to remove any
changes and return to the Progress Monitor
Caseload home page.

Viewing Progress Reports
After scores have been entered a Progress Report
is available. A brief progress description is
displayed in the Progress Report column. Click
the description link to view the report.

Click the Expand link to view the available
options for this report. The chart displays the
students progress in corrects and errors.

Student assessment score data is listed below the
chart.

The green back button returns you to the Progress
Monitoring Caseload home page.

The blue email button allows you to the Email the
Progress Monitoring Improvement Report.

The red PDF button creates a PDF file of the
report.

Transferring and Deleting Schedules
Student assessment schedules can be transferred
to other Progress Monitor Users by clicking the
check box next to the students name and clicking
the Transfer Schedule button.

Use the Transfer To drop down menu to designate
the students new Progress Monitor teacher.
Click the Transfer Schedule button to transfer
the student.

Delete an assessment schedule by clicking the
check box next to the students name and clicking
the Delete button. This will delete the
students assessment schedule, but not the
student from the Manage Students list.

Logging Out of the AIMSweb System
When you are finished using the AIMSweb system,
click the Logout button. Then, click OK on the
confirmation window. For security purposes, we
strongly recommend closing your browser after you
have logged out.
