4Goals for Deployment
- 1st Deployment of an AML unit overseas since OIF
in 2003 - Can an AML even Deploy?
- Too few people for too much equipment?
- Will the tactical and technical equipment survive
movement? - Equipment sensitivity, age, and condition
- Can we test accurately in a Field Environment?
- Validate testing Protocols and Procedures
- To test function and interoperation with similar
organizations - CBRNE Analytical and
Remediation Activity (CARA) Laboratory -
Republic of Korea Chemical, Biological,
Radiological Defense Command (ROK CBRD CMD)

ROK CBRD CMD) in a field deployed environment - Determine Personnel Requirement
