• Baseball is a bat and ball sport which is played
  between 2 teams of 9 players each. The goal is to
  score runs by hitting the ball with bat and
  touching a series of 4 bases at the corners of a
  90 ft. diamond. The players take turns hitting
  against pitcher of fielding team that tries to
  stop them from scoring runs. The teams switch
  between fielding batting whenever fielding team
  records 3 outs. One turn at bat for every team
  makes an inning and 9 innings makeup professional
  baseball game.

Complete Knowledge of Baseball

• There are 3 basic tools required to play
  baseball, the bat, the ball and the glove or
  mitt. The baseball is nearly the size of adults
  fist and around nine inches in circumference. The
  bat is hitting tool, made of a solid piece of
  wood. It is hard round stick, approximately 2.5
  inches in diameter at hitting end, tapering to
  narrow handle and culminating in a knob.

• The mitt or glove is fielding tool made of padded
  leather is used as an aid in holding catching
  the ball. It can take different shapes to meet
  the needs of various fielding positions. The
  squad or roster sizes differ between various
  leagues and levels of play. Major League
  Baseball teams have 25-player active rosters, and
  a typical 25-man roster in league without the DH
  rule features 8 position players, 5 starting
  pitchers, 6 relief pitchers, one backup, 2 backup
  infielders, 2 backup outfielders and one
  specialist pinch hitter.
