1966, he received his Bachelors degree (BS),
from the Union College in Schenectady, New York.
In July 1966, he enrolled at the Renssellaer
Polytechnic Institute, in Troy, New York, and
thereby received his Masters degree (MS) in
August 1967. He thereafter joined the Wayne State
University Medical School in Detroit, Michigan,
and obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree,
in June 1971.

- Since September 1980, Robert Drapkin MD has
been serving as a Research Assistant Professor in
the Department of Medicine, at the University Of
South Florida School Of Medicine. Besides, he
also served as a National Leukemia Association
Fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
in New York. Apart from this, from June 1978 to
1979, Dr. Drapkin was an attending physician with
bone marrow transplant service responsibility, in
the Dept. of Medicine A, Roswell Park Memorial
Institute, New York.

Art Museum
- Apart from being a certified oncologist,
Robert Drapkin MD is also a member of the
Collection Committee of the Harvard Art Museum.
Additionally, he is a Trustee for Museum of Fine
Arts, in St. Petersburg, Florida. The museum was
founded in 1965 by Margaret Acheson Stuart, and
it displays numerous objects from early antiquity
to the present day.

study on Bone Marrow Transplant and Human
Peripheral Blood Stem Cell. In 1977, Dr. Drapkin
along with Bayard Clarkson, MD, performed a
detailed study on human peripheral blood stem
cells at Memorial Sloan, Kettering Cancer Center,
New York.
