of the Chineses amazing use of coal, money, and
    compasses.
  • Soon he met a famous writer named Rustichello who
wrote a book about his travels called THE BOOK OF
    TRAVELS.

because of heath died in between 1552-1554. he
was born in Salamanca, Spain. He left home one
day because his parents promised their money to
    his eldest brother.
  • In 1535 and 1539 Francisco was sent to the new
land by Admiral Mendoza to find the 7 city's of
gold and clam them for Spain. The 7 citys were

1,000 Indians Francisco led his army of 1,300 to
what someday would become Arizona and New Mexico.

and when he did he found out that he was in
    Cibolo with no riches.
  • Part of the army of Francisco camped at the
villages of Cibolo others, others made separate
trips to find the 7 citys of gold. They were the
ones who met up with the Pueblo Indians who lived
    in Mexico.

Rio Grande finding many Indian camps also they
discovered the Grand Canyon then his army spent
the winter of 1540 in a place called Tiquex (an
Pueblo village on the Rio Grande). When it was
spring they went south and right across Texas,
and Kansas looking for the Grand Quivera a land
of gold and silver. Also they were the first
Europeans to explore the whole southern United
