9Academic Policies
- ADD/DROP
- Students can make adjustments to their schedule
with no penalty, if done before the deadline. If
completed during the add/drop period, the changes
will not be recorded on the students academic
record.
- WITHDRAWAL
- Students may withdraw from a course and receive a
W in place of a grade. - Department of Athletics Policy Student-Athletes
MUST seek approval from their Academic Advisor
prior to withdrawing from any course. Once
Add/Drop has ended, student-athletes MUST be
registered for a full-time course load in order
to practice or compete. -

- GRADE FORGIVENESS
- Students can forgive up to two UCF courses only.
It may not be used for the same course twice. The
second course will be calculated into the GPA.
Deadline to apply for grade forgiveness is the
last day of add/drop in that semester.
- CLAST
- Students are eligible to take the CLAST after
completing 18 hours - The CLAST can be completed by passing each of the
four sub-tests or through alternative criteria. - All education majors MUST either pass all
sections of the CLAST exam or the General
Knowledge Test (GKT).

- PLAGIARISM
- University Statement Plagiarism and Cheating of
any kind on an examination, quiz, or assignment
will result at least in an F for that
assignment (and may, depending on the severity of
the case, lead to an F for the entire course)
and may be subject to appropriate referral to the
Office of Student Conduct for further action. - Department of Athletics Policy Student-Athletes
are to inform their academic advisor within 24
hours if he/she is accused of academic dishonesty
in a course.

16KEEPKnights Education Enhancement Program
- Two Parts Tutoring and Mentoring
- Tutoring 11 and small group sessions
- Mentoring students will be paired with a
graduate assistant or an advisor to meet weekly
here at ASSA.

- Wireless high speed internet access for personal

- All athletes must sign in and out of the lab
- No food or drinks except bottled water
- Do not remove or tamper with any hardware or
software installed on the computers - Respect others using the lab

- Available to student-athletes traveling for
competition - Available to athletes who are unable to access a
lab on campus due to injury
