1746 The Little Massacre(Chotta Ghallooghara)

• The Mughals had made Sikhs outlaws.
• Sikhs had sacrificed their all.
• The Sikhs wandered from village to village
• Jaspat Rai, food and Nirbhau Singh
• Lakhpat Rai and Yahia Khan governor of Lahore
• The round up of Sikhs money for heads
• Trapped between the Ravi River and the mountains
• 10,000 people were killed by Lakhpat Rai in
  pursuit.

1762 The Big Massacre(the Vadda Ghalloghara)

• In 1761 Sardar Jassa Singh Ahluwalia took over
  Lahore and was declared King.
• Ahmed Shah Abdali had tried to attack and invade
  India and the Sikhs had drove him back.
• Now Jassa Singh ji wanted to rid of Ahmed Shahs
  supporter Aqil Das.
• Aqil Das called for Ahmed Shah to return.

Ruthless

• The Sikh armies heard about this and decided to
  take their families towards sirhind so that they
  will be safe.
• Nearly 30,000 Sikhs were encamped near Sirhind
  Men, women, children and the elderly
• Ahmed Shah launched a surprise attack.
• The Sikhs did not surrender and died fighting.
  20,000 were slain.
• In 3 months the Singhs avenged this defeat.
• Ahmed Shah Abdalis general was stationed at
  Amritsar. The Sikhs slaughtered 20,000 of his
  troops and 10,000 were made to clean up the
  desecrated Amritsar complex.

  Gursikhs in their Family.
