What courses are available as options?
  • All students attend a pre-tour session on USDs
    campus at the end of the fall semester where they
    will receive an introduction to the history and
    archaeology of Peru as well as useful travel
    information. In addition, students may enroll in
    one or both of the following courses.
  • HIST 492/592 Peru Land of the Inca (3 credits)
  • History of Perus pre-Spanish civilizations, the
    conquest, and the early colonial period.
  • Each student keeps a travel diary and writes a
    historical paper following the tour. Submit these
    to the instructor by 15 February 2009.
  • SPAN 496 Field Experience (1-2 credits)
