students are to gain an introductory insight into
some of the main issues surrounding C20th USA,
through studying the assassination of
JFK. Students also develop historical skills
concerned with empathy, interpretation and
evidential understanding as well as generic
Thinking Skills. Word, PowerPoint, Windows
MediaPlayer, Photo Editor Students will study the
evidence of the assassination and produce a
structured, persuasive argument supporting one of
the theories. They then go onto look at the
background of the case and the Kennedy presidency
using some of the theories put forward, studying
Cuba, Civil Rights, the Cold War etc.
