Natural Baby Acne Treatment
  • Many babies are born with what is termed
Neonatal acne or baby acne. Baby acne is
characterized by small red spots and tiny pimples
that appear mostly on their cheeks and nose. They
are also common on babies neck, forehead, back
and chin. The symptoms usually last for up to six
months. However, the more the baby grows, the
    more they will disappear.
  • Baby acne is normal and there should be no cause
for concern unless it becomes severe. The reason
why babies are born with baby acne is because of
hormones that were transmitted through the
placenta while in the womb. Many parents do not
like the symptoms of baby acne on the child and
so they seek treatments for the condition. There
are some mothers, especially first time ones who
may become worried about the condition. The good
news is, there are many natural baby acne
treatments that can be utilized for great
results. The purpose of this article is to
present natural ways for treating baby acne

Avoid Grease
  • Do not use greasy lotions and oils on your
babys skin. It will clog pores and cause acne to
worsen. It is better to use organic lotions that
contain oils such as jojoba and olive oils which
will moisturize the skin without clogging the
    pores.

Leave it alone
  • Do not pick or squeeze the little pimples to
extract what is inside. This can lead to scarring
    or even infection.
  • Even though you can try these home remedies to
treat baby acne, there is no need to worry or put
your baby through unnecessary treatment. It will
always clear up on its own as the baby gets
older. Talk to a pediatrician if you are not
comfortable with the condition or if it persists.
