Batteries can be useful if you have a blackout,
since they power flashlights, and they can power
radios, or a lamp.

A flashlight is very important if there is an
emergency like a blackout, a flashlight can help
you find your way around, and not fall and risk
getting hurt.
A flashlight can give you a source of light that
does not need electricity to be powered.

Canned Food
Canned food is good because it can stay good for
a long time and so you should keep a good amount
of them in your kit.

It is better if you dont get a very small can so
it wont run out anytime soon.

Water
Water is extremely important because you can only
go a few days without water, and you should have
a very good supply of it in your kit.

Make sure they are clean and fresh or you could
get sick. Also make sure that it is sealed, not
spilled, cap less, etc.

A Radio is important because most are battery
powered and can keep you informed on what is
going on outside in the storm.
Radios can also be used for you to find out when
it might end, or if it will get worse.
