  • Compared to the Qin dynasty (only 14 years) the
    Han dynasty lasted
  • How did the emperor divide up the government?

  • Much longer (400 years).
  • He had government officials spread throughout the
    empire.
  • They were chosen based on ability and knowledge
    rather than social status. Their work was
    evaluated every three years.

    the emperor.

    heart, your social status doesnt matter
  • The emperor does not have a harsh ruling style
  • You can be demoted if you dont do a good job.
