• World War II is erupting and everyone fears
  that Hitler will soon bomb London. To keep Tally
  safe, her father sends her to a country boarding
  school. At first lonely, Tally soon grows to love
  it there. When the school is invited to
  participate in a festival in Bergania. Tally and
  her friends jump at it. What an adventure!
• However, shortly after they arrive the king
  of Bergania is assassinated and it falls to them
  to keep the young prince safe.

  to find out whether their father survived. They
  live with their aunt, but without his income, she

• In their travels they meet and are taken in

  famous lighthouse on the Eddystone Reef. For
  years ships had crashed and sunk on those
  dangerous rocks. Because of his lighthouse they
  now sail safely into port.
• Learning that the lighthouse is in need of
  repair, the three of them set out to fix it. The
  worst storm of the century is also roaring in.
• Will it safe for them to go out? How much
  will they risk?

• John has to stay with an elderly aunt for
  the summer. What a waste of a good summer!
  However, his aunt turns out to be a surprise. She
  is fiercely independent and not much of a rule
  follower.
• Then, while exploring the woods behind her
  house, John comes upon a seemingly abandoned tree
  house. It is there that he encounters a ghost, a
  one-legged ghost.
• The ghost wants his missing leg and
  convinces John to help him. He just has to go to
  the old cemetery and open the grave with the leg
  in it. The leg is the only thing there. Then just
  rebury the leg with the rest of the ghosts body.
  
• Thats pretty simple, right? Except that the
  leg is not the only thing in the grave, and
  ghosts are not the scariest thing in the
  graveyard!

• Late one night in Victorian London a curious
  toddler climbs out of his crib, bumps down the
  stairs and crawls out the open back door to
  explore the wonderful night. He was awakened by
  noises downstairs, has blithely escaped the very

  street is a little cemetery and the kindly
  spirits there have been watching and hide him.
  Time goes by, and they raise him. However, the
  assassin, a member of an ancient order, was
  really after him and, the order is still looking
  for him.
• How will the cemetery spirits and this
  bright boy outwit these malicious men?
• And, why are they after him?

  basement, wins the hearts of his neighbors on
  Willow St., and will fearlessly head out to help
  find a girl lost in a terrible snowstorm.

• Lady Lamorna is an evil sorceress who wants
  a gown "beyond all compare floor-length black
  velvet, with little skulls across the hem,
  embroidered with spiders, and "layers and layers
  of blood-red petticoats."
• Only the Ancient Crones can produce such a
  garment, and her Evilness sends her wisecracking
  bat, to place her order. Unfortunately, Lamorna
  has neither the gold nor the silver to pay for
  this gown.
• She devises a nasty scheme to come up with
  the money, Shell turn all the princes in the
  realm into slimy, burpy frogs, and ransom those
  little amphibians to their parents in exchange
  for making them human again.
• Hah! She is so wickedly clever!

• Catherines little brother is autistic.She
  loves him, but it is really hard to be his big
  sister sometimes. He seems to get all her
  parents energy, takes a lot of watching out for,
  and out in public people seem to either ignore
  him or laugh at him. Its hard, and, she feels
  both lonely and guilty.
• One day she meets a boy at the center. Jason
  is in a wheelchair and has to use cards to
  talk but he is so normal otherwise. Soon
  Catherine, who likes to draw is adding to his
  vocab cards. One of his favorites is whatever!
  which he loves to use with his mother. Theyre
  becoming real friends, but then he asks her to go
  to the community dance with him. So, is she his
  real friend or not.

• In Mibs family when you turn 13 a
  supernatural ability, or Savvy, develops. No one
  knows just what ability you will get, but you
  will get one.
• Shortly before Mibs birthday her dad is
  badly injured and hospitalized. Everyone is very
  worried about him. Mibs really hopes, no she is
  sure, that her gift will enable her to heal him.
  Turns out her gift has more to do with reading
  minds. Its going to take a while for her to
  recognize that and figure out how to use it.
• Aside from her savvy,Mibs is just a regular
  kid who desperately wants to help her dad. She
  even sneaks out and onto a bus to get to him. How
  is her savvy going to help her now?

• During a school field trip to Black Vine
  Swamp, a suspicious "wildfire" breaks out, and
  then, in the midst of the confusion the science
  teacher, mean Mrs. Starch, vanishes.

  panther!

  to a neighbor, insists they return it. This is
  hard to do. They both know he keeps his dogs
  chained up and hungry to make them eager hunters.

  him with a rough kick in the side for running
  off.
• Marty decides to earn enough to buy the dog
  - if Jed will sell it. But then the dog runs away
  again. This time Marty hides him and takes care
  of him on the sly thinking to himself a lie
  dont seem a lie anymore when its meant to save
  a dog.
• Is he going to be able to save and keep this
  little dog?

  card. He and his friend Ben take the card to a
  dealer who tells them its just a copy, and buys
  it cheap. Not long after they realize they have
  been swindled by the dealer who plans to sell the
  rare card at auction for a lot more money!

  His plans are complicated by the dealers
  ferocious guard dogs, and fancy alarm systems.
• However, he is not alone. Griffin has some
  friends with unique talents, and they are ready
  and willing to help.
