5Complete List and Description of
DOCLINE Reports
- Select the Help link from the top of the
DOCLINE menu. - In the Table of Contents, select Request
Reports, - Then select ILL statistics and reports.
6To display DOCLINE reports Select Requests,
then Reports. Users have access to the four
most recent quarterly reports and two most recent
annual reports. When a new report is generated
it will replace the oldest of the listed
reports. Please Note NLM cannot provide
reports from previous quarters.

13Report 1-1A Summary DOCLINE Borrower Statistics
- Requested The total number of requests entered
by the library into DOCLINE during the quarter,
listed by type of material, journals or
monographs. - Filled The total number of DOCLINE requests
filled for the library during the quarter,
regardless of when they were entered into
DOCLINE. Listed by type of material. -
- Not Filled The total number of DOCLINE requests
that were not filled for the library during the
quarter, regardless of when they were entered
into DOCLINE. Listed by type of material. This is
the final disposition of the request. -

- Throughput (Filled) and Throughput (Not Filled)
- The average difference, in days, between the date
the request was entered into DOCLINE and the date
it was completed (filled or not filled). - Requests that are completed on the same day they
are entered into DOCLINE have a throughput of 0
days. This number is based on actual calendar
days (not working days), averaged over all
requests in each category.

16 Report 1-1B Summary DOCLINE Lender Statistics
- Removed for Non-Receipt The number of DOCLINE
requests that were removed from the waiting list
for "Non-Receipt" during the quarter, listed by
journal or monograph. -
- Removed for Non-Action The number of DOCLINE
requests removed from the waiting list for
"Non-Action" during the quarter, listed by
journal or monograph. - Throughput (Filled) and Throughput (Not Filled)
Calculated as the average difference, in days,
between the date the library received the request
and the date it was updated (filled or not
filled). Requests that are updated in LEND on the
same date they are received have a throughput of
0 days. Total throughput is arrived at by
averaging the throughput over all the requests in
each category.

1-8AB)
- Report Summary The Ranked List of Serial Titles
- Borrower reports provide data on the number of
times each title has been requested during the
given period. These reports include only those
requests borrowed by a library they exclude all
cancelled requests. -
- Frequency Two cumulative reports distributed
annually. - The 1-8A annual cumulative report covers July
through June. The second annual cumulative
report, - 1-8B, covers the calendar year, January through
December. - Statistics Examined by Report
- This report counts only requests associated with
an NLM Unique Identifier in LocatorPlus.

- Number Filled The number filled is based upon
those titles requested during the year. It does
not include any requests that may have been
filled during the year, but requested the
previous year. -
- Pub Year (Requested per Year) The number in
parentheses after the year indicates the number
of requests for articles from that year of

- Report Summary The Ranked List of Serial Titles
- Lender report provides data on the number of
times a title has been requested from a lender
during the given period. These reports include
only those requests received by a library they
exclude all requests removed by Time-Triggered
Actions for non-receipt. -
- Frequency Two cumulative reports distributed
annually. The 1-8C annual cumulative report
covers July through June. The second annual
cumulative report, 1-8D, covers the calendar
year, January through December. - Statistics Examined by Report
- This report counts only requests associated with
an NLM Unique Identifier in LocatorPlus. -

(2) most recent annual reports. When a new report

- Total Requested The number of requests per title
requested from the lender during the year. It
does not include any requests that were not
receipted by the lender. - Total Filled The number of requests per title
filled during the year. It does not include any
requests that may have been requested during the
year, but that were filled outside the reporting
period. - Pub Year (Filled per Year) The number of
requests filled is broken down by publication
year. The number in parentheses after the
publication year indicates the number of requests
filled for articles from that year of publication.
23Ad hoc Monthly Reports
- Go is for searching, not a periodic report
- Choose DOCLINE or Loansome Doc, as needed
- Choose lend or borrow, as needed
- Choose status filled, pending or retired, as
needed - Begin End choose effective dates for the
report, - up to 40 days

25DOCLINE -- Printing DOCLINE Reports
- Using Internet Explorer 6.x or 7.x
- From the DOCLINE menu, select Requests then
Reports. - Select the report to view/print.
- From the IE menu, select File, then Print.(Note
In IE 7.x, if the menu bar is not displayed by
default, from the printer icon on the command
bar, select Page Setup to change the page
orientation and to print the report.) - In the Print dialog box, select the Preferences
button. - Change the page orientation to Landscape. (Note
The location of this setting will depend upon
your printer printer driver.) - Click OK then In Print dialog box, click OK.
26Using Firefox 1.5.x or 2.x
- From the DOCLINE menu, select Requests then
Reports. - Select the report to view/print.
- From the Firefox menu, select File, then Print.
- In the Print dialog box, select the Properties
button. - Change the page orientation to Landscape. (Note
The location of this setting will depend upon
your printer printer driver.) - Click OK.
- In Print dialog box, click OK.
27DOCLINE -- Downloading DOCLINE Reports to
Excel
- Using Internet Explorer 6.x or 7.xFrom the
DOCLINE menu, select Requests then Reports.
Select the report to download. While viewing
the report, from the IE menu select Edit, then
Select All. From the IE menu select Edit, then
Copy. (Note In IE 7.x, if the menu bar is not
displayed by default, right click in the report
on the browser screen and highlight Select All.
Next right click on the report and select Copy.)

- Open a new workbook
- Click in cell A1. From the Excel main menu,
select Edit, - then Paste. Select "Match Destination
Formatting" - from the "Excel Paste Options" menu. Add or
modify formatting as desired - for local needs

Reports. - Select the report to download.
- While viewing the report, from the Firefox menu
select Edit, then Select All. - From the Firefox menu select Edit, then Copy.

their routing table
Select Requests, then Reports from the DOCLINE
main menu.Click the "Routing Table Statistics
(Report 1-7)" link from the list of the DOCLINE
generated reports.Report 1.7 lists all
libraries that include your library in their
routing tables at the time the report was
generated. Contact the library directly if you
wish to have your institution removed from their
routing table. Click on the link to the LIBID to
view the Institution record.
