Begin with a polo shirt, in light colors.
Dont spend a lot of money on it.
Its about to be covered in blood.

Unfortunately, youre about to be shot in the
left shoulder. Use a pencil to sketch the area of
fabric that will surely be torn from the garment
as a bullet of high caliber strikes it.

You can cut the fabric with a standard kitchen
knife. First, carefully poke holes through both
layers, about half an inch apart.

Then, tear the fabric from hole to hole, using
the knife if necessary, especially with breaking
the seams.

I used a very cheap spray dye/fabric
paint purchased at Jo-Ann fabrics. You dont
need professional gear here.
But, always test your dye on the scrap fabric
first.
I didnt mean to get blood on the Peanuts
characters. Sorry, Snoopy.

Use newspaper to bound the region of the shirt
you want to make bloody. and to keep your
floor clean

Get murderous.

Freak some people out. Act like its just a
flesh wound.
The damage is done. Now go out and sell it.
See, Im not even wincing.

The cheap way to do makeup wear a
red undershirt. A black bandana would be a
cool tourniquet. Get creative.
Thats a lot of blood.
