- Enhance the University of Rochester living and
learning experience through the deployment of a
comprehensive multi-faceted programming series - Event-based programming, theme and premium meals
- Collaborative programming with Student Activities
- Visiting Restaurant Programming Series
- Collaborate with faculty, administration and
student organizations to ensure the programming
series aligns with the objectives of each group - Partner with Universitys Communications
Department to improve our communication with the
campus community - Partner with University Health Services and
Wellness Coordinator to develop a customized
University of Rochester healthy eating program
including marketing and promotional materials
(Launch in Fall 2007)
52006 2007 Program Enhancements
- Switched to trans-fat free oils for all deep
frying - Introduced coffee from the Womens Coffee
Connection in Danforth - Moved to continuous service in Danforth, adding
17.5 service hours per week - Increased the use of locally grown and locally
produced products in all dining locations - Introduced Eco-Grounds to the Hillside Café
- Installed a nutrition kiosk in Danforth
- Opened a newly remodeled Nosh Kosher Deli in
Douglass - Enhanced our Balsam Bagel program, offering a
wider variety of bagels and a variety of cream
cheese spreads - Moved restaurant night at the Meliora to
Thursdays twice per month - Extended hours in the Meliora and the Meliora
Express - Opened the Southside Market in de Kiewiet 10/23
- Created a hotel-style Sunday brunch at Danforth
(introduced 10/29)
