• Old trail of the Delaware indians named
  Wickquasgeck Trail
• Dutch settlers took this trail over
• They widen the southern part and pave the trail
  to a street
• Heere Straat or Breede weg
• First mention in writing in 1642 by the dutch
  discoverer David de Vries

  Lyceum which was opened at 11/2/1903
