  • One of the purposes of the Marine Event permit
    process is to ensure that the public waterways
    always remain open for the use and enjoyment of
    the public at large. Special privileges may be
    granted for use of a section of reservoir only
    when it will not significantly impact the
    publics use. The normal guidelines are not to
    schedule regattas on holidays or weekend days
    during the peak public boating season of May 1st
    to October 1st.
