- - Reduce fees on three reunions (35th, 30th,
25th) with the goals of - a) Increasing attendance
- b) Allowing attendees more flexibility while on
campus - 45th and 40th reunions will be virtually
identical to improve efficiencies - 50th reunion will include elements of 45th and
40th where appropriate - Joint class reunions for 80s, 90s, and 00s will

105,000, making the Corps the largest
non-corporate supporter of the memorial - Corps presentation given to many alumni chapters
by MGen Allen and Col Roszak - Cadet leadership recognition continues
- University Man of the Year was a cadet4th time
in last 8 years - Undergraduate Student Leader of the year was a
cadet3rd consecutive year - 732 cadetssmallest freshman class (224) in ten
years, but still the 4th largest regiment in 36
years - Very successful Corps Homecoming held 1-2

342006 General Assembly Session
- Legislature approved a 74 billion budget for the
2006-2008 biennium - Virginia Tech received a total of 119.8 million
in new general fund support - Corps of Cadets received an additional 158,000
for this year and 247,000 for next year - Cooperative Extension received research equipment
funding and 1.3 million for the Commonwealth
Staffing Initiative - Budget provided salary increases of 4 for
classified staff and faculty and a 3 increase
for next year - Management agreements approved
