• Mount Adams is located to the East of Downtown
  Cincinnati.

Mt. Adams was named after President John Adams
when he dedicated the Cincinnati Observatory.

• Construction to rebuild Mt. Adams started in 1874

• Mt. Adams was one of the first settlements.
• It was in very bad condition. Then inclines were
  built in 1874 which made it accessible.
• Finally it was put under construction.

Other Interesting Details

• Today Mt. Adams is a small town with narrow
  streets and high, skinny, and long houses on
  either side of the streets.
• Mt. Adams opened 2 major businesses. It opened
  Rookwood Pottery started by Maria Longworth and
  Baldwin Piano.

• In Mt. Adams there many other landmarks too.
  There are Eden Park, Krohn Conservatory,
  Cincinnati Art Museum, the original Natural
  History Museum, and the Planetarium.

• Mt. Adams was famed for wine and architectural
  styles. For a short period Mt. Adams was the
  center of wine making in the U.S.A.
• Before Mt. Adams was named Mt. Adams it was named
  M. Ida. Then it was named Mt. Adams after John
  Adams.

• What I enjoyed most about visiting Mt. Adams is
  all the wonderful buildings.
• I also liked how calm it was there.
