REASONS FOR THE CIVIL WAR
  • I rise, Mr. President, for the purpose of
    announcing to the Senate that I have satisfactory
    evidence that the State of Mississippi, by a
    solemn ordinance of her people, in convention
    assembled, has declared her separation from the
    United States, states Davis.
  • Almost one-third of all Southern families owned
    slaves.

    importance to the war, and any interesting facts.
  • Create a Hyperstudio tri-fold flier that you
    could pass out to the student body and staff.
  • Within it you must include their birthdate,
    death, contribution to war, rank (if in
    military), 3 interesting facts and your reason
    for choosing individual.
  • 4. You will make a presentation to the class
    passing out the flyer, preparing for the arrival
    of your civil war hero.
  • Answer questions that may arrise.
