You are about to embark on a top secret mission
so dont turn back now! Your mission is to
collect data concerning background information
dealing with the cities of Bismarck and Mandan in
the State of North Dakota. Collect only
important and interesting information because
your information will be passed on to the highest
officials in our nations government and
published in a top secret journal. Good Luck and
Work Hard!

Your Role!

• As a learning pod you will choose a role and
  gather that information. These are the roles.
• If there are only three in the pod, you will
  cooperatively construct the Map.
• The Governor gather information on the past five
  Governors and the Old Governors Mansion.
• The Archeologist gather information on the
  archeological dig site of Double Ditch.
• The Historian gather information on Fort Abraham
  Lincoln/On-a-Slant Village and The one room
  school houses of the past.
• The Map Maker create a map of ND, pinpointing
  all the places being researched and what county
  they are in. Label the county, city, and name of
  site.

• Double Ditch was a Mandan Indian village
  overlooking the Missouri River.
• This village held 10,000 or more Mandan at one
  time.

• Collectively, as a group, compile your word
  documents in the order you wish to be published.
• Be creative and create a cover page for your Top
  Secret journal.
