Sustainable Consultations Of Office Practices

Campus Program, Net Impact, AS Sustainability,
and help from the Institute for Sustainble
Development..
- SCOOP began conducting sustainable office
consultations in the spring of 2008. - The SCOOP team is now comprised of one paid
director, three staff advisors, four student
intern coordinators, and a handful of student
consultants.

- Assess four different areas
- Energy, Health, Recycling, and Purchasing
- We look at computers, copiers, faxes, printers,
recycling, paper, lighting, energy, waste, and
health - A group of interns assess the office and its
practices - Score rating
- Energy audit
- Afterwards the interns consult the office
- Recommendations report
- Walk-through
- Staff de-briefing
- Staff Council
- Recognize outstanding offices

with the HR department in developing staff
training. - SCOOP has been institutionalized at Chico State
working with staff council.
