The Zoo

• The Indianapolis Zoo has many different animals
  to see so that any one who goes there can see
  animals they like.
  
• They also have endangered animals such as tigers,
  3 white rhinos, and pandas.
  
• They also have the first artificially inseminated
  elephant.

Animals, animals everywhere

• Wherever you went you always saw an animal.
• The animals we saw were all different shapes,
  sizes and many different colors.
  
• We saw giraffes, monkeys, snakes, dolphins, and
  elephants.
  
• We also saw pink flamingos, llamas, zebras, and
  white rhinos.
  
• There were many exotic birds.

• When we went to the zoo. We saw the dolphin show.
  It was great!
  
• The dolphins did flips and tricks. They were very
  good listeners.
  
• They did exactly what the instructors told them
  to do.
  
• They are one of the smartest animals ever.
• They even got the crowd wet. How fun!

The Safari
In this area we saw giraffes and elephants and
ostriches. The ostriches were huge they almost ca
me on the walkway. Their legs look like theyre
about to break. When we saw the giraffes they wer
e eating hay from trees. They were so tall they
could have hit there heads on the tops of the
trees.

• There were so many snakes at the zoo.
• Some were big and bold and some were skinny and
  small.
  
• Some of the snakes were venomous and others
  harmless.
  
• All the snakes were different colors, not one of
  the snakes looked exactly alike.

Birds

• There were many birds with pretty colors and they
  all had unique calls.
  
• But their calls had one thing in common, they
  were all loud.
  
• Most of the birds had large fluffy feathers.
• Most of the birds from the zoo were found in
  tropical areas.

The Story

• In the IMAX film Coral Reef Adventure a man
  Rusi Vulakoro tried to find out what happened
  that damaged his reef so badly. He decides to
  call his 2 friends who are Marine Biologists to
  help him. Rusi and his partners travel to many
  different coral reefs all over the world to
  observe them and to see how they function.

Finding the Problem

• As the story went on they find more and more
  clues to what happened. It turns out that it was
  a combination of things. For example, a rain
  forest was cut down causing a river to turn to
  mud, and that river led to the ocean. Another
  problem was ocean warming, the temperature had
  gone up 2 degrees which was very hard on the
  reefs. One other problem was over fishing.
