Cape Neddick Lighthouse
  • Maines southernmost lighthouse.
  • Built on a rocky island just off shore.
  • Because of this, its nickname is Nubble Light
  • It is only accessible by boat although a previous
    lightkeeper used to transport his child to the
    mainland for school in a hanging basket! The
    coastguard thought it was too dangerous and told
    him to stop.
