  think that they could do anything boys could do.
• In 1921, Amelia Earhart became a licensed pilot.
• She became the first female to fly across the
  Atlantic Ocean.
• During her attempt to fly around the world at the
  equator, Amelia Earharts plane disappeared and
  was never found.
• The mystery of what happened to Amelia
  Earhart continues today and there have been
  many theories.
