- Alerts are notifications regarding additions to
the database - Persistent or Durable links are links that remain
static (do not change) to the search, journal or
article of your choice - These links can be established for
- Subject Searches
- Journal / Publication
- Articles

- Search Alerts
- (automatic notification of latest addition of
search matches to databases) -
- Journal Alerts
- (automatic notification of latest addition of
the journal to the database)

3Create an Account / Sign In

4Search Alerts Perform a Search

5Click Create alert for this search

6Alert Details Appear
Click OK even if you dont have RSS capability

7Your search screen reappears (You are still in
your account)
Click Folder Has Items and Edit your alert
from RSS to Email (if you prefer)

8Your created alerts are added to your account To
access / edit, log into EBSCO

9To edit, check the box next to the alert Click
Edit Alert

Chose options and enter email address

11Journal Title Alert (Notifies you when that
title is added to database)Search for Publication

To Edit a Journal Alert, Follow the
same Procedure given for Search Alerts

- Persistent or Durable links remain static (they

perform) - Journal / Publication (links user to the Journal
Title holdings) - Articles (linksk user to the specific article)

On Campus the link takes you to the Article Off
Campus to the login screen and then to the article
