Position

• Measures position of Flaps, engine nozzle,
  landing gear, and pilot input controls.
• This device is a Honeywell RVDT weighing in at
  1/3 pound.

Pressure

• Measures gage, absolute and differential
  pressures.
• Used in bleed air, fuel, engine oil and hydraulic
  fluid pressures applications.
• Weighs about 5 oz without addition of fitting.

Force

• Used for pilot input measurements, servo-loop
  feedback, overload protection and payload
  measurement.
• Weighs 1.75 lbs
• Torque sensor weighs about 2 lbs.

Radar Sensor

• Informs the pilot that the enemy has radar
  pointed at them.
• An example is the ALR-69. It is a basic fuzz
  buster for the military.
• Has a 3 by 9 in Cathode Ray Tube.
• Cost less then 15000 per unit and weighs
  approximately 42 lbs.
