2Setting Up and Log in
3Before logging in...
Click on Tools and then Internet Options.
- Open Internet Explorer
- Click on Tools from the tools menu bar
- Click on Internet Options.

Repeat steps for Internet Local Intranet
- Active X
- Click on Security Tab.
- Click on Internet, Custom Level, and make sure
the following items are Enabled - Download signed ActiveX controls
- Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins
- Script ActiveX controls marked safe for
scripting - File download and Font download.
- Repeat steps for Local Intranet.

Trusted Sites
- Active X
- This site requires Active X. First go to Tools,
Internet Options, Security Tab, Trusted Sites.
Then click on Sites button and add
Https//.cudenver.edu to the list. - If Active X is not already installed, the
computer will prompt you to install it.

- Start by typing in the URL http//matrix-web.cu
denver.edu/appnet - Login with the 1st letter of your first name and
your full last name. - Initial password is password
- Pop-Up Blocker
- Make sure to turn off your pop-up blocker and
set the blocker to always allow this site.

2. Click on the document type RO Application
(Graduation)
3. Keywords fields will then be available.
- To retrieve a graduation application, start by
clicking on the RETRIEVAL Icon located in the
upper left hand side. - Then click on the RO APPLICATION (GRADUATION)
document type listed in the field box. - The search keywords will be available to use.
- Search by exact SID, Name, Term, Degree,
College, etc. - For name search you can use the wild card .
For example, lets say you were searching for
Ralphie Buffalo. You can search by Buff and it
will pull up all names that start with Buff...

Some searches you may want to do
- All students who has applied (approved, denied,
etc.) Fill in the keywords for Term and Matrix
Code. - Only students who have been approved and sent to
Chris Fill in the keywords for Term, Matrix
Code, DeptDecision (APPROVED). - Only students who have been denied Fill in the
keywords for Term, Matrix Code, DeptDecision
(DENIED) - Only students who youve worked on Fill in
the keywords for Term, Matrix Code, DeptReviewer
(Your user name) - Students who have dual degrees Fill in the
keywords for Term, Matrix Code, GradIntent1
(YES), GradIntent2 (Yes)

4. Then click on the FIND button to execute the
search.
Use the Query History button to list previous
searches.
- Then click on the find button to search.

- In this example, the search was for
- Term 20071 and
- MatrixCode USLA.

Cycle View tab.

- Click on the sub branch, ROGP Dept Advisor Review

3. Your list of students to review.
- Based on your login and the MatrixCode group
that youre assigned, the list of students that
come up will be available for you to work on.
The columns are sortable by clicking on the
column header. The Columns include Status,
SID, SIS Name, Degree, Major, Term, and
MatrixCode.

4. Double click on the student you want to work
on.
- Double click on the student you are working on
and the grad app will be displayed below. If you
need to make any changes to the students name or
mailing address, please make the changes within
the individual input fields.

To create a STICKY note, right click and go to
NOTES and then ADD NOTE
- To create a sticky note, right click and go to
NOTES and then ADD NOTE. - You will be asked the type of note you wish to
create. - Note will appear in the upper left side corner.

Double click on the note (located in upper left
corner)
- To Approve or Deny students Intent to Graduate
- The action icon is the Smiley Face to approve
or deny the application. - Click on this icon.

5. Approve or Deny application.
- If the advisor clicks on the APPROVE button, the
application is forwarded to the
Graduation/Diploma Coordinator. If the
coordinator has a problem with the application,
he/she will return the application back to the
advisors queue. - If the advisor clicks on the DENY button, an
email (from the email address in SIS) is sent to
the student notifying them that their Graduation
Application has been denied and to contact their
advisor for more information. The Graduation
Application is then removed from the queue.

Click on bottom tab Custom Queries
- To query for approved, denied, by major, etc.
- Click on the bottom tab, Custom Queries

Click on RO Intent to Graduate List
- Click on the RO Intent to Graduate List.
- Select the Term (5 digits) and MatrixCode (4
letters). - For Degree and Major, use full translated
version with the code. - Ex. BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION MBAD Ex. MASTER
OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION MBA - For DeptReviewer, use login name.
- For DeptDecision, please use "APPROVED" or
"DENIED". - Click on the Find button (binoculars icon)
