BELIEFS AND ceremonies

• One of the Plains Indians beliefs is the Sun
  Dance. It is not used to praise the sun. It was
  used to see visions, and to renew people and the
  earth.

• There homes were called wigwams they used many
  resources to build their homes.they used logs and
  rush mats to build.

• The most popular food on the Plains was the
  buffalo. Almost all of the food was from the
  buffalo.

Natural resources

• The land that the plain Indians lived on was very
  hot and was a very important resource.

Tools

• Tools were very important to the Indians.
  Tomahawks were symbols of peace.

Clothing

• THEY WORE MANY CLOTHES THAT WERE MADE FROM
  BUFFALO AND RABBIT SKIN.
