• New contract with PNC Bank to enable all student
  and staff ID cards with debit/ATM card encoding.
• Issues
• Some campus door access systems are incompatible
  with new encoding on track 2 and cannot read an
  alternate track
• Access systems that CAN read the new encoding
  must now hold the PNC bank ISO number.

  single centralized system compatible with new ID
  card encoding.
• Secure PNC bank card data in a single, central ID
  card database.
• Replace badly-supported Honeywell systems.

  the production servers in Cyert Hall A100 and the
  Disaster Recovery site at 6555 Penn Avenue.
• Current network path is dependent on two switches
  with no redundancy.
• Creates a single point of failure for operations
  at DR site
