What is Licensed and Inspected

• 6 passengers and less on navigable waters
• Over 700 boats mainly on the Great Lakes
• All vessels carrying passengers for hire on
  non-navigable waters
• Sixteen are over 6 passengers
• From 10 to 500 passengers
• Except small river boats
• Captains are required to be licensed by USCG or
  State of Michigan
