The mission of the Society is to encourage and recognize excellence in premedical scholarship to stimulate an appreciation of the importance of premedical education to promote communication between medical and premedical students and educators to provide a forum for students with common interests and to use its resources to benefit health organizations, charities, and the community.

Everyone starts as an associate member!
30 fee per year (guarantees a T-shirt if paid before 09/30/08)
Active Associate Membership
Community Service (1-4 pts) - 4 pts min
General Meetings (1 pt) - 3 pts min
Fundraising (1-2 pts) - 2 pts min
Fellowship (1 pt) - 1 pt min

5 National Membership
50 one time life time membership fee
Associate Member at LUC for 2 semesters (does not need to be consecutive)
Minimum 3.20 Science and Cumulative GPA
Entrance interview with the AED executive board
Prospective National Members must organize one social and one service event together before inductions
Work with Laura and Madison to set these up!
National Members will be inducted in the Spring Semester.

Feeding the Homeless
Sunday September 21st _at_ 11am
Pack brown bag lunches and pass them out to the homeless on the streets of the city
